In a few sentences describe your business.

I’ve been a sculptor, moldmaker, and custom knife maker for over 30 years. I have been making ceremonial tools, ritual objects and artwork for the magical community for all of that time. I have several businesses and many diverse creative interests including sculpting, painting, fabrication, metal crafting, blacksmithing, bronzework, lapidary and jewelry, leather work, haberdashery, and costuming. If it’s awesome and you want it, I can probably make it!

Do you work alone?

My partner Geoffrey Stolle and I have been working together for over 20 years.

What is your Mission Statement?

I want to make the world a more beautiful place one glorious art piece at a time; and hopefully inspire others to explore their own creativity and imagination

What is your favorite part about what you do?

All of it!

Why did you start this professional Journey?

I was going to be a Buddhist monk, but I got kicked out of the monastery, so I figured being an artist was the next best thing.

What can you offer customers that your competitors can’t?

Unique original designs, high quality craftsmanship, artwork made with magical intent, and quite frankly really cool stuff that they cannot find anywhere else!

How would you handle a herd of cats?

Give them milk and honey and skritchins until they fall asleep.

Tell us more about your business?

My business is my art, and my art is my business

Who has been an inspiration to you along this path?

This box is WAY too small to list all the artists, poets, writers, dreamers, and magick workers who have inspired me

What superpower would you like to have? and why

Patience. Because it is the most powerful superpower there is.

When you are not working what do you do?

Read, write, meditate, practice yoga, play geeky rpg games like Dungeons & Dragons and Call of Cthulhu

How do you include your Pagan faith in your work?

I have been studying ancient history, religion, and the occult for over 30 years and I bring that knowledge to serve the magical community in terms of subject matter and magical intent. What’s more, creativity and imagination are legit high magic. Things that do not exist are literally manifest by my will and skill. I do my best to share this very real and very powerful magick with everyone I encounter both pagan and non-pagan alike.

Thank you so much James for taking the time to tell us more about you and all you creations. Your work is amazing!
